Jakub Vontroba

Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Doctoral Studies
Jakub Vontroba is the Vice-Dean at the Faculty of Doctoral Studies. As a member of the Department of Economics and Economic Policy, he lectures and leads seminars on public sector economy, employment policy, or managerial decision-making. He is a co-author of several publications indexed in Web of Science, while his scientific and research activities mainly focus on the topic of labour market. Jakub completed an Erasmus+ study stay at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business, and internships at the Czech Liaison Office for Research, Development and Innovation in Brussels, and at the Moravian-Silesian Employment Pact. He holds a bachelor’s degree in National Economy (Bc.) and master’s degrees in National Economy (Ing.) and Management (Ing.) from the Faculty of Economics of VSB-Technical University of Ostrava.
