Lukáš Jursa

Lukáš Jursa is an internal member of ERUNI Open Research Ostrava and an external member of the Department of Economics and Economic Policy at the European Research University. He is involved in the Economic Policy and Governance research team, where he works on monetary policy and financial sector stability. In collaboration with colleagues at ERUNI Open Research Ostrava, he conducts basic and applied research in the field of economics and economic policy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in National Economy from VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, where he is also currently pursuing a PhD in Economics. He is preparing his dissertation on the International Transmission of the European Central Bank’s Monetary Policy: the Spillover Effect of Monetary Policy on the Example of the European Union Member States. In addition, during his studies he completed an internship at the Česká spořitelna Bank’s analytical centre under the supervision of the Chief Economist of theČeská spořitelna Bank. His research focuses on central banking, the implementation of practical monetary policy, banking and unconventional approaches to solving fundamental problems related to achieving price and financial stability.
