Assoc. Prof. Naděžda Klabusayová

Naděžda Klabusayová is Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Economic Policy at the European Research University. She graduated in Industrial Economics at the Faculty of Economics, VSB-Technical University of Ostrava. In 2002 she received her habilitation in the field of Business Economics and Management. She has many years of teaching and research experience in the fields of production organisation and management, quality management, logistics and strategic management and consumer protection. In the last 20 years, she has been a guarantor of several courses at the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Mining and Geology at VSB-Technical University of Ostrava. As a researcher she was a member of teams involved in research tasks of national character focused on management efficiency, environment, quality, logistics management and consumer protection. She served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics of VSB-Technical University of Ostrava (2008-2012), internal auditor of the quality management system and quality manager, member of the Board of the study programme Economics and Management and member of the Scientific Board at the Faculty of Economics of VSB-Technical University of Ostrava. She also participated in the development of consumer protection issues in the international research project “PERL 2” ACADEMIC NETWORKS. She has been a member of the Czech Society for Quality since 1990, served as the Czech Republic’s representative in the ANEC General Assembly in 2004-2007 and was a co-founder of the Logistics Academy. Since 2023 she has been an assessor of the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education in the field of Economics. She cooperates with the practice in the form of consulting and design activities, teaching in MBA courses and as a lecturer of professional seminars in the above mentioned areas. She has supervised several dozen bachelor and master theses and has been a successful supervisor of doctoral students. Her publications include monographs on technical harmonisation and conformity assessment of specified products. She is also co-author of Logistics in Practice, Logistics, Integrated Management System and several scripts on logistics management, quality management and consumer protection. She has also authored or co-authored dozens of technical articles and papers, including those in the WoS and Scopus databases.
