Assoc. Prof. Marie Macková, PhD

Marie Macková is an associate professor at the PRIGO University College. Marie Macková was appointed associate professor in the field of Health and Social Care in 2016. She is an evaluator of the National Accreditation Office for the field of Social Work. In the last five years, she carried out scientific research and other creative activities in the given field. From her professional biography, seven publications in journals registered in the Web of Science or Scopus databases can be mentioned as the most important, always in the field of Social Work or related fields. Marie Macková has 46 citations of her works. Marie Macková is involved in international cooperation in the form of internships and conferences. He also works professionally as a health social worker and psychotherapist in a mobile hospice in Šumperk. She is the co-founder of a worldwide information website for social workers in hospices and a member of the European Organization for Social Work in Palliative Care. In addition, he is an active volunteer counselor in the social and psychological area of the internet counseling center and fights for the rights of people with disabilities, especially owners of assistance and guide dogs. Last but not least, it can be mentioned that Marie Macková received several awards for her work, for example Woman of the Region for the Olomouc Region, for her contribution in the field of palliative care in social work.
