Who we are.
The European Research University is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation whose mission is mainly to provide education in accredited undergraduate as well as postgraduate degree programmes, non-degree programmes and lifelong learning programmes, and to carry out related scientific research activities. The University also holds the status of a Recognised Teaching Centre of the University of London. We are the European Research University. We are ERUNI.
Why study with us.
The European Research University offers a highly individualised model of study, built on small cohorts and an exceptional staff-to-student ratio that enables genuinely personalised supervision. Teaching is delivered through interactive, discussion-based formats that prioritise critical thinking, academic dialogue, and active engagement, rather than passive attendance. Closely aligned with current research, the study experience is designed to develop strong analytical skills and prepare students for further academic and professional advancement.

Special tuition support.
At European Research University (ERUNI), we support talented and motivated students through a combination of scholarships, stipends, and research funding — designed to remove financial barriers and enable full focus on academic development.
University of London programmes
Students enrolled in programmes of the University of London and supported by ERUNI RTC may be considered for scholarships funded through the Foundation FOR THE FUTURE.
These scholarships may cover up to 100% of the University of London tuition fees, allowing selected students to pursue their degree entirely free of charge.
Doctoral research fellowship (PhD studies)
Doctoral fellows receive a fully funded financial package designed to support intensive research activity.
This includes:
- a monthly stipend of EUR 4,000,
- the possibility to obtain a doctoral research grant of up to EUR 80,000 for the duration of the study,
- additional funding of up to EUR 8,000 per year for conferences, summer schools, workshops, and other academic activities,
- location in Prague.
This structure enables doctoral fellows to focus fully on research, publication, and international academic engagement.
Study and educational programmes.
To apply for admission, submit an online study application and include a motivational video, an essay, and an overview of your academic achievements as well as your extracurricular activities. You will then attend a personal interview with the rector or dean, where you’ll demonstrate your motivation, readiness for full-time study, willingness to study abroad, and commitment to extracurricular activities and volunteering.
