Jaromír Tonner, PhD

Mgr. Jaromír Tonner, Ph.D. et Ph.D.
Jaromír is a researcher and forecaster with extensive experience in using of models in practice as well as in team management. During his career, he developed a range of models (macroeconomic models, econometric models) and used them for analytical and forecasting purposes (Czech National Bank, International Monetary Fund, European Central Bank, Masaryk University, J.E. Purkyně University). He actively programs in R, Matlab, Python, VBA, SQL. He also led prediction teams focused on baseline and forecast scenarios for the Czech National Bank, participated in many research projects and foreign technical assistance. In the future, he would like to continue to develop his analytical and programming skills in the aforementioned programming environments as part of interesting projects (either purely research or applied in practice).
