Ing. Jaroslav Šigut
Jaroslav Šigut is a member of the PRIGO University College of the European Research University. He graduated in the field of Automated Control Systems from the VSB-Technical University of Ostrava. After completing his studies, he took a position as a system control designer at the company and later became the head of the system engineering department at Celpak (now Biocel) Paskov. He worked at the VSB-Technical University of Ostrava as an external and later internal academic staff member. At the same time, he served as a lecturer in the field of management and information systems. He completed professional courses and obtained certificates, including the NEBS Management Tutor Certificate in Business Studies and the Cyber Skills Knowledge and Leadership Program. In his work, he focused on the design of control systems, electronics, automation, and production management in the paper industry, engineering, metallurgy, and deep mining. He is the author of a series of educational materials and scripts for VSB-Technical University of Ostrava and others. Currently, he is focusing on issues related to information systems and computer science, information systems in public administration, and e-government. His published researches revolve around security in the digital environment, with a focus on children and adolescents.
