Ing. Jiří Gregor, Ph.D.

Jiří Gregor is a researcher and an external member of the Faculty of Economics of the European Research University. He graduated with a PhD in Economics at the Faculty of Economics of VŠB-TU Ostrava. During his doctoral studies, he spent several months at University College Cork in Ireland and at the George Washington University Research Center in Washington, D.C. He works at the Czech National Bank and at the European Research University. His research focuses on monetary and macroprudential policy, in particular on issues related to the interest rate channel of monetary policy and borrower-based macroprudential tools. He has authored several articles in reputable economic journals.
