Ing. Natalie Uhrová, Ph.D.

Natalie Uhrová is the dean of the PRIGO University College of the European Research University, the oldest and traditional ERUNI part. She is a member of the Rector's Collegium, a member of the Scientific Board and Chair of the Disciplinary Committee of the European Research University. She is also a member of the Academic Board of the Faculty of Economics and a member of the Editorial Board of the international scientific journal DANUBE, registered in the Scopus database and published jointly by the renowned publishing house de Gruyter and the ERUNI. She graduated from the Master's degree programme in National Economy at the Faculty of Economics of VSB-Technical University of Ostrava. She received her PhD degree in the doctoral programme of Economic Theory at the same university. She worked at the Department of National Economy, Faculty of Economics, VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, where she held the position of secretary. In the past, she was a director of grammar schools and secondary schools belonging to the PRIGO Group. At the ERUNI, she deals with employment policy, social policy and economic policy. She guarantees and teaches several courses in these fields. She has experience in supervising dozens of diploma and bachelor theses. She has extensive experience in organizing scientific conferences. As the Dean of PRIGO University College, she oversees various profession-oriented study programmes and lifelong learning courses, particularly in the areas of Continuing Education for Teaching Personnel and the implementation of the University of the Third Age. Throughout her academic career, she has also authored numerous articles indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus databases.
