About ERC London.
The European Research College London (ERC) is an independent part of the ERUNI, established under UK law as a centre for scientific collaboration and innovation. As a dynamic research hub, ERC brings together researchers at all career stages, including early-career scholars and postdoctoral fellows, as well as senior academics who provide mentorship and leadership in advancing high-quality research.
At ERC, we take great pride in fostering a friendly, open, and supportive environment where researchers can thrive. One of ERUNI’s greatest strengths has always been its strong sense of community and collegiality – we value honest discussions, address challenges constructively, and create a workplace where collaboration and mutual support are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that academic excellence flourishes best in a welcoming setting, free from unnecessary pressure, allowing scholars to focus on their work while feeling part of a close-knit and inspiring research community.
Our research focuses on two key areas – economics and business studies on one hand, and psychological and educational sciences on the other. Through this dual focus, ERC fosters interdisciplinary dialogue and supports research with both theoretical depth and real-world impact.
Committed to academic excellence, ERC organises workshops, lectures, and events designed to enhance key skills such as science management, academic writing, and research communication. These initiatives equip researchers with the tools needed to navigate the complexities of the modern research landscape.
With its independent governance and international outlook, ERC provides an inspiring space for intellectual exchange, professional development, and innovative thinking. We welcome researchers in economics, business studies, psychology, and educational sciences to engage, collaborate, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in a community that values excellence, integrity, and innovation.
