Ing. Vojtěch Olbrecht, Ph.D.

Vojtěch Olbrecht is director of the European Research College London that specialises to create a prestigeous research hub in central London. Vojtech is responsible for its operations, communication with researchers and universities and creating a sustainable presence in this world’s vibrant educational market. Vojtech received his Master's and PhD degrees in Economy and Management from the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Mendel University in Brno. During his doctoral studies, he focused on Law and Economics and Institutional Economics and investigated the impact of EU legislation on firm performance. He also defended his dissertation on this topic. During and after his studies, he also pursued a business career in finance and supply chain. His research has been published in several articles in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases.
