Ing. Michal Fridrich, Ph.D., MBA
Michal Fridrich is the dean of the University College Prague of the European Research University. The college provides mainly professional bachelor's degree programmes, especially in the field of informatics. He is a member of the Rector's Collegium, the Scientific Board of the European Research University and a member of the Academic Board of the Faculty of Economics. He also represents the European Research University on the Board of the Council of Universities (RVŠ). He studied the field of Industrial Systems Management at the Department of Automation and Computer Technology at VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, where he successfully defended his dissertation on the topic of Advanced Methods of Processing Process Control Data in Metallurgy and received his PhD. Additionally, he holds an MBA in Business, from which he graduated at the European Institute of Business Studies, a certified institution. His work and study experience encompasses econometrics, data analysis, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, web development, online marketing, and the creation of digital twins. He is the author or co-author of several articles indexed in the Web of Science or Scopus databases. His research primarily focuses on IT elements of the fourth industrial revolution, which can significantly support the intra-company economy in today's turbulent times. He teaches mostly IT-oriented subjects for bachelor's and master's degree studies at the European Research University.
