Alishba Hania, MS, Ph.D.

Alishba Hania is a Research Fellow at the Department of Psychological and Learning Sciences, European Research College, London, and the European Research University, Czech Republic. She received her PhD in Psychology from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 2020. She previously served as Associate Professor at the College of Education and Humanities, Nanchang Institute of Technology, China, and as Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Southern Punjab, Pakistan, where she also developed Mahire Nafsiyat, Pakistan’s first psychological first aid Android application. Dr. Hania’s research spans clinical psychology, educational psychology, environmental psychology, digital psychology, and cross-cultural psychology. She is particularly noted for her work on the psychological dimensions of climate anxiety, AI-related academic behaviours, and the interplay between mental health and socioeconomic factors. She has published extensively in leading SSCI-indexed journals, including the Journal of Psychosomatic Research, Studies in Higher Education, Technology in Society, and European Journal of Education, among others. She serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work at international conferences across Asia and Europe.
