Ketevani Kapanadze, PhD

Ketevani Kapanadze is a postdoctoral research fellow at the ERUNI. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Marmara University in Istanbul, a Master's degree in Mathematical Economics from the University of Tartu, Estonia, and a PhD in Economics and Econometrics from CERGE-EI. Her research interests lie at the intersection of regional economics, economic geography, remote sensing, and European integration. During her doctoral studies, she was a visiting researcher at the Center for Real Estate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Ketevani was a visiting lecturer at Masaryk University and at the International School of Economics in Tbilisi. In 2023, she was a faculty lecturer and postdoctoral researcher on a Horizon Europe project at the Department of Economics and Legal Studies, Faculty of Law, Charles University. Ketevani has presented her research at the Congress of the European Economic Association in two consecutive years, 2022 and 2023. She received the Young Economist of the Year award from the Czech Economic Society in 2021.
