Světlana Nedvědová
Světlana Nedvědová is a member of the project team War-induced insecurity, religiosity, and social support among Ukrainian refugee mothers in the Czech Republic at European Research University and a doctoral student at the Department of Sociology at Masaryk University in Brno. In her research, she focuses on the sociology of death, dying, and mourning. She primarily examines the phenomenon of socially unrecognized grief from the perspective of social norms, control, and inequalities, with a focus on gender, sexuality, and age. She is also involved in the project Institutions of Aging Men and is a member of a research group focusing on the effectiveness of the healthcare system within the SYRI institute.
