Veronika Murinová

Veronika Murinová is head of the ERUNI Careers Centre and a lecturer and deputy head at EUROPEAN COLLEGE Ostrava. Her professional focus includes pedagogy, formative assessment, reading literacy and text comprehension in the context of Society 4.0. As a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Education, University of Ostrava, she investigates the effects of formative assessment on students’ personality traits, motivation, attitudes, and learning outcomes.

Before taking on a leadership and teaching role at EUROPEAN COLLEGE Ostrava, she worked for many years as a primary school teacher and later as an external lecturer at a higher vocational school, where she taught courses in pedagogy, educational legislation, pre-primary pedagogy and leisure education. She has also gained international experience through Erasmus mobilities in Norway and Malta. Her research is regularly presented at international scientific conferences such as ECEL, ICERI, DIVAI and the Masaryk University International Conference, where she publishes papers indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science.
