Zeeshan Hashim, MSc, MBA, Ph.D.

Zeeshan Hashim is a postdoctoral research fellow at the European Research University. He earned his PhD in Economics and Finance from Brunel University London, where he received the Vice Chancellor’s Prize for research excellence. He also holds an MSc in Political Economy from the University of Essex and an MBA in Finance with distinction. He is research focuses on political economy, public economics, development, and collective action. He taught economics at the University of Bedfordshire and delivered executive training for senior professionals across major oil‑producing countries. He has also worked with the PRISA Institute (London), PRIME Institute (Islamabad), and the Institute of Economic Affairs (London). He has presented at leading international conferences, including the European Public Choice Society Meeting, the French Economic Association Congress, SEAM, and the Migration Conference. His work appears in journals such as the European Journal of Political Economy and Environment, Development and Sustainability, and he regularly writes for The Express Tribune on development and governance.
