Information and Communication Security
The aim of the three-year Bachelor’s degree programme in Information and Communication Security is to prepare certified professionals in the field of cybersecurity for operating systems, computer networks, databases, and information systems. The goal is to prepare graduates who will be capable of working in various roles critical to ensuring IT security.
The programme provides knowledge and skills in the areas of technical tools, operating systems, computer networks, databases, programming, and the management and security of information systems. In addition to theoretical core subjects, the curriculum includes a series of courses designed to lead to certification in areas such as computer networks, operating systems, databases, and information systems management.
Graduates of the Information and Communication Security programme will acquire sufficiently deep knowledge, specific skills, and gain practical experience during their studies, enabling them to immediately pursue either further education in a related Master's programme or take up positions in the field of information and communication security.
Graduates will find employment:
- In specialised companies providing services in the field of IS/ICT (network operators, data administrators, cloud computing firms, telecommunications companies, or security consultants)
- In medium and large companies operating their own IS/ICT infrastructure
- In companies and institutions that, in compliance with cybersecurity regulations, require specialists to collaborate with relevant coordinating bodies
- In the field of cybersecurity process management
