Who the MBA programme is for?
The MBA in Global Business is designed for experienced professionals, managers, entrepreneurs and emerging leaders who seek to strengthen their strategic and leadership capabilities in a global and technology-driven business environment. Form of study
Delivered in a blended study format, the programme integrates on-campus sessions, online learning, experiential outdoor education, and AR/VR-based simulations to develop advanced managerial competences for a rapidly changing and technology-driven world.
All modules are taught entirely in English and are academically supported by the newly established ERUNI AI Lab, serving as a hub for applied research, innovation, and data-driven managerial education.
Admission requirements
Applicants are expected to hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification and to demonstrate at least three years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in English is required, as all instruction, assignments and assessments are conducted in English. Admission decisions are based on a review of professional background, motivation letter and interview.
How to apply
Applications for the MBA in Global Business are accepted twice a year — by 31 March for the spring intake and by 31 October for the autumn intake.

After receiving your initial application, Dr Fridrich will request the relevant supporting documents and provide further guidance on the next steps in the admissions process.

Programme fee – introductory offer for 2025/26
The total programme fee for the MBA in Global Business is EUR 3,990. This is a special introductory price available exclusively for participants enrolling in the 2025/26 academic year. The fee covers all tuition, study materials, access to online resources and academic support. A limited number of places are available at this introductory rate.
Programme structure.
This one-year, non-degree programme is divided into four interconnected modules, combining academic insight with practical application. The curriculum follows the standards of international MBA education and integrates case studies, simulations and project work throughout.
Module 1: Global and Central European Business Environment
Focus:
Understanding global markets through the lens of Central Europe
Key topics:
- Globalisation, regional integration, and economic policy in Europe
- “Central Europe Depth, Global Breadth” perspective – learning from emerging and distant markets
- ESG, sustainability, and digital transformation trends
- Venture financing basics, startup–corporate collaboration, and negotiation skills
Experiential element:
Field visit or regional study project focused on Central European firms expanding internationally.
Module 2: AI-Driven Strategy and Innovation Management
Focus:
Using data, artificial intelligence, and digital tools for strategic decision-making
Key topics:
- AI-first management and strategic analytics
- Predictive modelling, automation, and hands-on data labs (Python / Power BI); AI tools for managers
- Digital ecosystems, emerging (e.g. quantum-ready) technologies, and cybersecurity (including NIS2 awareness)
- Innovation processes and organisational agility
Practical component:
ERUNI AI Lab workshops and simulation tasks based on real-world datasets and business scenarios.
Module 3: Global Finance, Law & Governance
Focus:
Managing financial and regulatory complexity in global operations

- International finance and taxation in the digital age
- Risk management, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. ESG, EU AI Act, DMA, DSA)
- Comparative corporate governance in the EU and beyond
- Ethical decision-making and sustainability frameworks
Practical component:
Case-based consulting assignment for an organisation operating across borders.
Module 4: Leadership, Reflection & Transformation
Focus:
Developing authentic leadership through reflective and experiential learning
Key topics:
- Leading teams in multicultural and hybrid environments
- Change management, resilience, and adaptability
- Outdoor leadership training and reflective practice (e.g. the ERUNI “Midnight Beskydy Challenge”)
- Mentorship, personal development, mental well-being, and emotional intelligence
Experiential component:
Outdoor expedition, reflective leadership diary, and structured peer-feedback sessions.
Capstone Project / Consulting Lab
An integrative, team-based project in which students address a real strategic, innovation, or transformation challenge faced by a partner organisation – a company, startup, NGO, or public institution operating in a global context with a strong Central European dimension.
Projects are completed in small teams under faculty supervision and ERUNI AI Lab mentorship.
