About the scholarship
The Research Scholarship is a special scholarship according to Article 7 of the Scholarship Regulations of the European Research University. The Research Scholarship supports the objectives of the ERUNI in the development of research activities, internationalisation, and integration with the overall educational process. In line with the university's strategic priorities, it is primarily available to students enrolled in full-time research-oriented or internationally-focused study programmes.

Who is eligible for the scholarship?
Any applicant or student may apply for the Research Scholarship, but only if they have already been accepted into one of the ERUNI's programmes or a University of London programme offered at an accredited University of London Recognised Teaching Centre in Ostrava operated by the ERUNI. The scholarship will be revoked immediately if there is significant unexcused absenteeism or if there are serious concerns that the student will not complete the programme in the standard duration.
Duration of the scholarship
The research scholarship is awarded for the following academic year. It is paid in regular monthly instalments from September to August. For first-year students, it is paid from December of the first academic year, and for final-year students, it is paid until May of the final academic year. The scholarship is only awarded and paid to students who are studying within the standard duration of the respective programme.
